 Middy (born Middleton Miller Carouthers) is The “Modern Cowboy” (LP, 2022); a singer-songwriter now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Middy’s journey began accidentally when he ended up at Masterfonics Studios with Tommy Dorsey over Vionic Studios in Nashville in the Music Row neighborhood in 2017. This led to a tie-up with acclaimed musical producer and DJ, Lenny Bertoldo (Warner Brothers Records) along with other brilliant local artists like Smith Curry on pedal steel (Grand Ole Opry Hall of Fame), and acclaimed violinist Lauren Conklin. “Pass Me By” features lead guitarist Chris Lueszinger (Garth Brooks) and guitarist Adam Shoenfield (Tim McGraw). Middy has been recording since 1986 and has four completed albums with over 3.5 million views of his music videos on YouTube. Middy has produced many of his own works, additionally collaborating with Nashville producers Pat Holt and Fred Vail of Treasure Isle Recorders. When not performing, Middy is tearing up the town with The Wrecking Crew, a premiere demolition company that serves the greater Saint Louis and Nashville areas as well as inspiring the name of his band, Middy & the Crew. Middy is the Godfather of Demo Rock, a blend of country, classic and southern rock as unique as the man himself.
